Shenzhen OCT East Tourism Resort has recently been officially designated as one of the venues for the 10th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF). As an important cultural tourism project under the OCT Group, Shenzhen OCT East has consistently actively participated in various ICIF events. This year marks the fifth time that OCT East has served as a venue for the ICIF.
During the ICIF, OCT East combines film culture with tourism culture to launch its first-ever “Flower Appreciation & Film Festival.” Key highlights include the International New Media Short Film Festival, a Creative Market, and a Short Film Camp Party. These segments will showcase the resort’s cultural ambiance through premium short film elements, helping to build momentum for the ICIF and offering Shenzhen residents a rich cinematic and holiday cultural feast.
From May 9 to 19, the main venue of the China International New Media Short Film Festival (Golden Rooster Awards) will be hosted at Shenzhen OCT East Tourism Resort. For the first time in history, top directors and special effects masters will gather at OCT East, along with over a hundred young filmmakers from more than 20 countries, all converging at the “Flower Appreciation & Film Festival” to learn from master insights and enjoy an array of brilliant short films.
The OCT East “Flower Appreciation & Film Festival” will run throughout May. During the day, enjoy flower viewing, explore the resort, browse the Creative Market, and catch the classic revamped performance of “Tian Chan.” In the evening, take part in the Penglai Short Film Camp Party, stay in themed hotels, and engage in various interactive activities. Experience flower seas, admire floral paths, and catch the premiere of OCT East’s microfilms.
