Recently, the KAILAS brand officially announced its partnership with the Australian National and Junior Climbing Teams (Sport Climbing of Australia). The climbing apparel worn in competitions and the safety equipment used in training are all provided by KAILAS (Kailas), a professional outdoor brand. KAILAS climber James Kassay, who is also a member of the Australian national climbing team, made his debut in the team uniform designed by KAILAS at the IFSC World Cup Chongqing stop in May during the men's bouldering competition. James Kassay successfully advanced to the finals with a 3rd place finish in the semifinals, and ultimately concluded his World Cup journey with a 4th place finish in Chongqing. This also marks the best result in the history of the Australian national team.
After officially becoming the sole supplier of safety equipment and climbing ropes for the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) official competitions in 2013, KAILAS has since been supplying professional gear to the USA Climbing Association and National Climbing Team (USA CLIMBING), as well as the Australian National and Junior Climbing Teams (SCA). We will continue to collaborate with more international climbing organizations to promote the sport of climbing.
