On June 1, 2014, the second leg of the Dafoshan Cycling League was held at Shangli Farm in Foshan. The races were divided into women’s group, men’s senior group, men’s junior group, men’s veteran group, men’s middle-aged group, and men’s youth group. The German outdoor brand VAUDE sponsored the event.
The weather on the day of the race was sunny, and the relatively high temperature added to the excitement. After intense competition, each group delivered thrilling performances. Notably, the men’s junior group saw a large number of participants, and most of the spectators were also teenagers. As the rising force in cycling, their active involvement is highly encouraging for the development of cycling events in China.
At the event, VAUDE showcased professional cycling apparel and gear, attracting many cyclists to stop and take a look. The functionality and stylish design of the products received positive feedback. In addition, VAUDE sponsored the prizes for the race, with top finishers in each group receiving VAUDE professional cycling backpacks, bandanas, and other awards.
