According to official information, this CAMEL Camel Outdoor Festival boasts four “mosts”: the world’s deepest, longest, and highest-altitude Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, China’s most beautiful snow-capped mountain Namjagbarwa Peak, the least-known celestial sacred lake Nalatso Lake, and the most beautiful female guest, Pan Xiaoting. During this exploration, participants will engage in photo competitions, explore the ruins of Jidingdangga Village, traverse primeval forests and azalea woods, and experience the breathtaking sacred scenery where Namjagbarwa Peak and Nalatso Lake complement each other during the lake circumambulation.
Pan Xiaoting expressed excitement about the upcoming circumambulation prayer at the mysterious Nalatso Lake, saying, “Nalatso Lake is truly beautiful ! Circumambulating the lake and praying is very efficacious. Everyone, share your wishes with us. On June 27th, Camel and I will bring everyone’s wishes there!”
Nalatso Lake is located southwest of Namjagbarwa Peak, known as “China’s Most Beautiful Snow Mountain.” In Tibetan, its name means “beyond the sky,” and can also be understood as “the edge of the sky” or “celestial ridge.” Known as a tear of Namjagbarwa, Nalatso Lake has long been hidden deep within the mountain valleys between Namjagbarwa and Duoxionglha Snow Mountains, rarely visited by tourists, exuding a mysterious and devout religious atmosphere.
