In 2011, there were a total of 22 marathon events held in China, increasing to 39 in 2013. The number of participants rose from 400,000 in 2011 to 750,000 in 2013. With a pair of running shoes, a quick-dry T-shirt, a water bottle, a pair of headphones, a set APP, and a few steps forward, running has become the most popular form of exercise. How popular is running?

Want to know what kind of foot type you have, whether your center of gravity is balanced or biased, and what kind of running shoes you should choose? The editor took a special tour around the running section and found a laser 3D foot measurement device at the Asics booth, which can measure the height of your arch, foot width, foot length, and the degree of center of gravity shift during exercise. The measurement results can be used to customize your own personal running shoes. Shi Jinhao, a professional running consultant at the Asics booth, said that for high-frequency trainers, it is more advisable to run every other day rather than daily, with cycling, yoga, or other activities in between to balance things out and make the workout more effective.

According to exhibitors, this year’s running section at the exhibition was very successful, with both participating brands and on-site audiences expressing great satisfaction. Yan Wei, General Manager of 《Runner's Gear》, commented: “The turnout was strong, and there was a lot of interest, though the area could have been a bit larger. All participating exhibitors hope to see an expansion next year. Many brands that didn’t participate in this year’s running section have also expressed interest in signing up for next year’s.”
