On July 19, 2014, the National Camping Conference by Green Field Network (Laizhou, Shandong Station) was enthusiastically launched at Golden Beach on the coast of Laizhou, Shandong. With the goal of developing the Green Field Shandong platform and enabling more people to experience the joy of outdoor activities, the event attracted nearly 3,000 participants from over 50 outdoor enthusiast teams across the country. The event also received strong support from the Laizhou Municipal Tourism Bureau, Sports Bureau, and the leaders of the Coastal Resort Tourism Area, as well as full sponsorship from Roewe Automobile and UCC Sports Bicycles. Numerous outdoor media outlets, including Gravel.com and Outdoor Exploration Magazine, provided comprehensive coverage.

The camping conference site was spectacular. Against the backdrop of the vast sea and the setting sun, the tents set up by the travelers stretched to the horizon, decorating the lovely beach with a riot of colors. During the day, the event site hosted activities such as slacklining competitions, three-legged races, unlimited beer drinking, tug-of-war, and cycling races. As night fell, the stage was illuminated with dazzling lights and pulsating music, and a large-scale outdoor music carnival pushed the atmosphere of the event to its climax. After the sunset, the beach became romantic and warm, with travelers enjoying unique barbecue dinners in front of their tents and admiring the colorful, soaring fireworks. At the camping conference site, Green Field also organized social media interactive activities. Peng Cheng, the person in charge of the camping conference, introduced that Laizhou Golden Beach is the most important scenic landmark of Laizhou City. It is equipped with high-end hotels, real estate developments, golf courses, and more. Next year, large-scale marine entertainment facilities will also be launched. Laizhou Leyou Outdoor hopes to unite the strength of travelers from across the country through this camping conference, integrate advantageous outdoor resources from various regions, and establish comprehensive long-term cooperation. Leyou Outdoor also aspires to become a reception hub for travelers nationwide visiting Laizhou, allowing them to experience the city’s beautiful scenery and rich hospitality.
