The China Cycling League will hold events in major cities across the country annually going forward. The league adopts a major regional system that balances professionalism and mass participation, providing both professional cyclists and amateur cycling enthusiasts with a stage to shine.

The launch of the China Cycling League was announced at a press conference held on the 26th at the Beijing National Convention Center. It is reported that the league is organized by the Chinese Cycling Association, with the slogan "Cyclists of China, Our China Cycling League," aiming to promote the healthy and sustainable development of cycling.
"At present, there are many local cycling events in China, which have attracted a lot of participants. It can be said that cycling has a solid mass base. The league can further standardize the development of cycling as a sport and attract more people to understand and participate in it," said Niu Hongtao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Cycling Association.
According to the press conference, the China Cycling League adopts a major regional system, with each leg of the league featuring a 2–3 day competition schedule and limited registration for 600–1000 direct participants. Points accumulate across stages, with competition progressing step by step, giving cycling clubs and enthusiasts nationwide the opportunity to take part.
In addition, according to Han Jiling, Secretary-General of the Chinese Cycling Association, the China Cycling League also specifically includes age groups and a mass fitness group to lower the entry barrier for participation. "The league will break through the limitations of professional competitions, allowing amateur cycling enthusiasts and the general public to participate as well, promoting the continuous development of competitive cycling in China towards 'mass fitness.'"
