Still stuck with the stereotypical image of a travel agency? Located in an office building? Or a traditional triangular storefront? Staff all wearing stiff suits? Looks like the insurance industry? Or salespeople from a traditional business? Our special correspondent found Taiwan’s most beautiful travel agency — let’s take a look together. The reporter wants to work here so badly too!

RIMOWA is embedded right at the entrance!
Situated in a prime location next to Eslite Bookstore in East District, just a five-minute walk from Dunhua Station on the MRT. Close to Eslite, it’s truly a great spot for aspiring hipsters — though our inner voice says: I bet lunch here isn’t cheap, surrounded as it is by high-end eateries. As soon as you reach the entrance, you’ll be stunned — isn’t that the world-famous RIMOWA suitcase that won’t break even if it falls off a plane, embedded right at the door? The twist? It’s not new, but has the wear and patina of actual use. The entrance door isn’t your typical pair of wooden doors either, but one wrapped in understated yet luxurious orange leather, adorned with fine stitching details. And the doorbell nearby is the kind you’d see in Europe — apparently custom-ordered and brought back from abroad by a tour guide. So thoughtful and cool!

A super fun place for photos and check-ins
The reception area, besides being packed with beloved souvenirs and award trophies favored by travelers, features this standout Ring Chair swing chair. You just want to sit in it and soak up the relaxing vibe. Originally thought to be a replica, but it turns out it’s actually a piece by a Finnish master — no wonder sitting in it feels so unique, and it’s super photogenic.

Coffee that’s more professional than at a café
The other reception room feels just like a café. Whoa!? There are sofas to sit on, free Wi-Fi to use, and the best part is, they serve gold cup coffee — the kind only sold near Rome’s Pantheon. Every week, tour guides bring back beans directly from Rome for guests to try. And it’s not brewed using some ordinary push-button machine, but a proper Italian-style professional coffee machine, just like those you’d find abroad. Isn’t that amazing!? This could totally pass as a café. Oh, and here’s a little secret: the ceiling light is specially designed to look like an airplane runway — they really went all out!

My home is also a library concept
The white lamp has won the German Red Dot Design Award. Its circular design symbolizes the orbits of the universe. On the left is a full bookshelf stacked with travel-related books. Aside from regular magazines, it also houses nearly out-of-print collections like the Hong Shan Xue Fu series and Explorer Series — a real treat for travel enthusiasts.

100T TV is absolutely essential
In the meeting room, aside from a huge long table, the highlight is the 100T TV. Originally, to give clients the best experience, they wanted to authentically showcase the colors of each destination. After trying every projector on the market, they found that only a massive TV could truly capture the beauty of each place. (On the wall is a wildebeest brought back from Lucerne, Switzerland.)

“Salon” is a philosophy
The term “salon” first appeared in 16th-century Italy and became extremely popular in 17th–18th century France. It was a gathering hosted by a patron inviting other guests to interact, enhance mutual communication, or simply to delight themselves and refine their tastes. (Source: Wikipedia)
HuaYou loves this idea, so they created this small, somewhat private salon space, hoping to embody this spirit of exchange.
