After a night of rest, the Tailg-Baosen “Dream Chasers” shook off the fatigue of the previous day. On September 19, after breakfast, the team bid farewell to the charming city of Kangding and set off for Zheduo Mountain, which stands at an altitude of 4,298 meters.
Due to prolonged exposure to high-altitude areas, the challenges were not limited to difficult road conditions. There was also an unavoidable uninvited guest—altitude sickness. The arrival of this unwelcome visitor left several team members feeling downcast. Coupled with the low temperatures, some began to show symptoms of a cold, forcing the team to take a break for rest and recovery. After carefully assessing the health conditions of the members, the team leader decided to press on toward the next destination.
