Thailand Must-Buy "BKK Original" Starts a Hotel – Stay One Night for Just 1,500 THB and Get a Free Bag

The ultra-popular and affordable bag brand "BKK Original," a must-buy in Thailand, is now venturing into the hospitality industry. BKK Original HotelIt has opened a themed hotel of the same name, the BKK Original Hotel, near the famous Asiatique Riverfront Night Market in Bangkok. The hotel has a total of 25 rooms, each designed around a unique theme incorporating various BKK bag elements. Currently, there’s an opening promotion where you can stay for as low as 1,500 Thai baht per night, plus enjoy a free DIY experience to take your own BKK bag home.

The "BKK Original Hotel" opened near the Asiatique Riverfront Night Market in Bangkok in June this year. Ms. Pleng, one of the three owners and also the Taiwan representative, said that opening the hotel not only fulfills the dream of one of the partners but also aims to give fans of BKK Original a sense of realized dreams.

Ms. Pleng pointed out that the hotel has a total of 25 guest rooms, divided into three types: Standard Room, Deluxe Room, and Luxury View Room. Utilizing materials commonly used in making BKK bags, the hotel has created 25 different themes. Many furnishings, such as bed bases and storage furniture of various sizes, are handmade and incorporate various iconic patterns found on BKK bags. The unique design makes guests feel as if they’re actually staying inside the BKK Original store. Ms. Pleng also mentioned that it’s quite common for guests to come in just to inquire, but end up booking a stay – a truly special memory.

To showcase the characteristics of Bangkok tourism, themed rooms inspired by the Asiatique Riverfront Night Market and Chatuchak Market have been designed. Ms. Pleng noted that Chatuchak Market is not only a must-visit shopping destination in Bangkok but also the birthplace of BKK Original, making it particularly meaningful for them.

In addition, BKK Original Hotel has set up a DIY workshop within the hotel, providing materials for guests to make their own custom bags. Ms. Pleng explained that the time needed for the DIY bag experience varies depending on the individual, but generally takes about 30 minutes to an hour. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy this experience for free, while it is also open to the general public. Non-guests can participate for a fee of 500 Thai baht per person to make their own bag.

BKK Original Hotel is still running its opening promotion. Standard Rooms are 1,500 THB, Deluxe Rooms 1,700 THB, and Luxury View Rooms 1,900 THB.(The original prices are 3,000 THB, 3,400 THB, and 3,800 THB respectively),with the price including breakfast for two and a DIY experience. The offer is valid from now until October 31.。

BKK OriginalThe brand was founded by three young people with an average age of just 25. With cute and diverse designs and an average price of just 350 THB, it has become a must-buy souvenir for Taiwanese travelers visiting Thailand in recent years. One Taiwanese tourist even bought 80 bags at once, leaving a deep impression on the owners. As a result, Taiwan was chosen as the first overseas location, and there are currently two branches in Taipei.
