“The celestial Moon Palace in the heavens, the earthly Summer Palace on earth.” With an average annual temperature of about 11.2 degrees Celsius, Fairy Mountain earned its name from a peak that resembles a graceful dancing fairy. From afar, the Fairy Peak is veiled in white clouds and surrounded by purple mist, appearing and disappearing in the hazy distance, like a shy fairy clad in gossamer, standing delicately.

The Huabang Hotel at Fairy Mountain is nestled beside the vast grasslands of the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, adjacent to the World Natural Heritage sites of the Three Natural Bridges, Longshuixia Gorge, Furong Cave, and Furong River. The over 20,000-square-meter stone-and-timber style building stands atop the karst natural stone forest landscape.
