To help children develop awareness of safe cycling from an early age, the Asia Bike Show established the "Children's Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund," which has received attention and support from numerous exhibitors. This morning, at Hall C of the Nanjing International Expo Center, the "Family Fun - Kids Challenge" event, themed "Baby Care Action," thrilled the crowd.
Two styles of children’s helmets were given out for free during the event, both looking very cool. "Safety education must start with children—sweat, not blood, should be the outcome of sports," said Tang Jian, person in charge of the MOON booth, which sponsored the helmets. "Our original intention in providing the helmets was to encourage parents to teach their children how to use cycling safety gear from a young age, to raise their awareness of cycling safety, and to develop their ability to handle emergencies," a brand manager from RANKING told our reporter.
Alongside the children’s cycling activities, there was also an art experience zone from Dongfang Wawa. Children participating in the on-site competitions could also visit this area to try painting on masks and balloons. "We want to inspire children’s imagination—the sky’s the limit when it comes to art. That’s the message we hope to convey to them," said Zhang Xue, supervisor of the Dongfang Wawa Aoti campus. "If there are more cycling events at the Asia Bike Show in the future, we hope to continue joining hands with the cycling activities. The combination of movement and creativity will allow children to enjoy healthy outdoor sports while also experiencing the charm of art."
