However, news broke on the evening of October 5 that the results of the Beijing round’s main race were revised — the top two drivers were each handed a 30-second time penalty, and Jiang Tengyi of Shanghai Volkswagen 333, who originally finished third, was promoted to first. Han Han, who originally placed fifth, ultimately secured third place, delivering a stellar comeback performance.
After completing six rounds, the performance of the Shanghai Volkswagen 333 team is as follows. In terms of overall team standings, thanks to multiple race wins by its drivers, the 333 team has climbed to the top of the Manufacturer Cup (team) points leaderboard. As a team driver, Han Han was unable to compete in the first five rounds due to movie filming and promotional duties, and it is still unclear whether he will participate in the final two rounds of this season.
