After 20 days of cycling, six Tailing Electric Bike Dream Chasers with an average age of 72 successfully reached Lhasa. On September 15, the Tailing Electric Bike Dream Chasers set off from Chengdu, riding Tailing Cloud Smart Power-Assist Bicycles, along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318), passing through Ya'an, Luding, Kangding, Litang, Batang, Markham, Derong, Manigange, Suoluo, Dege, Danba, Xinlong, Daocheng, Yading, and arrived smoothly at the endpoint of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318) —— Lhasa on October 4. The total journey exceeded 1,000 kilometers, setting a world age record for high-altitude cycling culture.

On October 4, Chen Wenfu, the team leader of the Tailing Electric Bike Dream Chasers, said in an interview with reporters that cycling to Lhasa via the “Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318)” had been a dream of theirs for many years, and with the public welfare support of Tailing Electric Bikes, this dream was finally realized this year. He also told reporters that the successful completion of this journey was not only due to the power support of the Tailing Electric Bike Cloud Smart Power-Assist Bicycle, but also to the strength brought by mutual encouragement and support among the team members during the trip.

Reporters learned that in recent years, as cycling has gradually gained acceptance among more people, the number of cyclists on the “Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318)” has been increasing. Regarding this, Tailing Electric Bike experts suggest: “Be well-prepared mentally for the challenges; you need to have basic skills in bicycle riding, navigation, physical endurance, and emergency response. Most importantly, allocate your physical strength reasonably. If you ride as a team, you’ll realize the importance of the team!”
