The China International Camping Congress is a mass fitness event that has been upgraded from the China International Sports Tourism Expo, jointly organized by the General Administration of Sport of China and the National Tourism Administration. It integrates national fitness, outdoor sports, leisure tourism, and ethnic culture. It is also a key branded event under Beijing Camping Home Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd.
During the 2014 China International Camping Congress (Qiandao Lake Station), four major mass fitness and leisure sports activities will be held: the "Olympic Champions Lead the 1,000-Person Fun Run of the China International Camping Congress," the "Qiandao Lake Red Ancient Trail Hike," the "Qiandao Lake Cycling Race," and the "Outdoor Triathlon Challenge." In addition, popular leisure and entertainment activities such as the "RV Parade," the "Qiandao Lake Camping Home RV Camping Carnival," the "Jet Ski Water Show," and the "Qiandao Lake Lakeside Camping Music Festival" will also take place. Tens of thousands of outdoor camping enthusiasts from across the country will gather in the charming Qiandao Lake to join this camping carnival. The scale and scope of the event will mark a new chapter in the development of mass sports and related industries in China.
To comprehensively and multi-dimensionally showcase Qiandao Lake’s advantages in leisure outdoor sports and natural-cultural resources, and to attract more people to pay attention to, learn about, and visit Qiandao Lake, a photography contest themed "China International Camping Congress (Qiandao Lake Station)" will be held during the event.
