According to Australian media reports on the 22nd, although clothing was invented to keep people warm, especially in the freezing winter, for Australian freestyle skier Sam Ruttiman, naked skiing was a creative endeavor.

It is understood that in September this year, Ruttiman took part in a freestyle skiing event called "Toyota One Hit Wonder" held in Japan. To win the grand prize, participants had to descend from a 30-meter-high slope while performing freestyle moves. In addition, the organizers also introduced a "game show activity" offering small rewards for those with creativity and individual style.
Ruttiman entered the "game show activity" with the unique idea of skiing naked. Unfortunately, although the idea was bold, he overlooked the issue of reduced resistance without clothing. Due to the high speed, Ruttiman lost balance and fell. Though not seriously injured, he suffered multiple frostbites because he lacked clothing to keep warm.
Commenting on this, Anna Segal, an event judge and Australian Olympic skier, joked that she would give high scores to naked participants, but only if “they have very good physiques.”
