The 2014 KALAS Yangshuo Climbing Festival specially curated and first selected the "Ten Figures Who Promoted Climbing in Yangshuo (2001–2011)," aiming to uncover more of the sport’s history through the personal stories of these representatives. Their perspectives and experiences illustrate how China’s premier climbing destination has driven the development of climbing in the country.
With selfless dedication and the passion of their youth, they vigorously propelled the growth of climbing in Yangshuo—and their contributions are undeniable. Among them are route developers, elite climbers, product designers, training experts, and event organizers.
