On October 25th, the Xi'an stop of Adidas Outdoor's "#JustGo" themed event officially kicked off. After an hour and a half of travel by vehicle, all sixty team members arrived at the foot of the mountain, where they formed lines and divided into groups in preparation to set off for the destination. The route for this event was from Laoyu Valley to Eighteen Bends to Heihu Mouth, covering a total distance of 26 kilometers with an accumulated elevation gain of 1,000 meters.
Heihu Mouth is located about 12 li eastward within Laoyu Valley, deep in the western gully between Laoyu Valley and Linyu Valley on a mountain ridge, with an altitude of approximately 1,873.4 meters. It is the highest peak along the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains. Before the team set off, the organizers gave each of the three groups a large backpack weighing 70 jin for a loaded hiking and trekking competition. The first group to carry the load all the way to the destination would win the competition award. To ensure the smooth and successful execution of the event, five team leaders were arranged to guarantee the safety of the participants. The team members were geared up and eager to go.
The activity began with the team leaders guiding everyone on a leisurely uphill hike along the eastern mountain path of Laoyu Valley. The slope was gradual, and without realizing it, the group gradually ascended while enjoying the autumn scenery. The rural mountain areas were vast, passing by the orchards and farmsteads halfway up Liyuanping. Apricot, peach, and rapeseed flowers bloomed vibrantly.
Liyuanping is said to be the hometown of Emperor Gaozu of Tang, Li Yuan. Due to the gently sloping terrain and relatively thick soil layers, it was suitable for habitation, land reclamation, vegetable farming, and grain cultivation. Rows of poplar trees stood straight up beside the mountain streams. As they hiked higher, the rolling fields and picturesque mountains stretched out as far as the eye could see, majestic and beautiful.
After two hours of uphill trekking, the team leaders arranged for the participants to take a collective break. During the rest, a treasure hunt activity was organized to help relieve physical and mental fatigue.
The final stretch of the mountain path was winding and twisting. The participants were all drenched in sweat but kept pushing on. Perhaps this is much like life’s journey—no matter how winding it may be, we must still take one solid step at a time, with no shortcuts available. Special thanks to the team leaders who were specifically responsible for carrying the event materials; their strength was truly extraordinary.
Finally, the team arrived at the base camp of the event. Looking back, the vast mountain slopes spread out before them, crisscrossed with paths. A few scattered farmhouses were nestled among the hills, and a narrow mountain trail wound through the landscape. Red mountain peach blossoms, green crops, and pine trees created a beautiful autumn scene in the Qinling countryside. Everyone spread out mats, sat cross-legged, and took out their own vegetables and lamb, or brought out their stoves and cookware to start cooking.
The spring sunshine was warm. Although it was noon, it wasn’t as scorching as summer. Bathed in the spring light, people felt a bit relaxed and languid. At this moment, enjoying high-quality outdoor meals was truly delightful.
After a hearty meal, the Xi'an stop of Adidas' "#JustGo" themed event reached its climax. As music played, the team leaders led the participants in dancing to the "Little Apple" song, followed by an interactive game session where everyone immersed themselves in laughter and joy.
The team leaders distributed the 2014 Adidas Outdoor new product catalog to each participant, and staff members explained the features and new technologies of some of Adidas Outdoor's 2014 models, allowing everyone to gain a more detailed and in-depth understanding of the Adidas Outdoor gear.

Finally, the exciting moment arrived as the staff awarded prizes to the winning team of the loaded trekking competition and to the winners of the interactive quiz.
