Known as the "rainbow world in the city," Zhongquan Community in Changhua City has recently seen the appearance of over 30 cute pups, whose lovable appearances have attracted visitors to come and take photos. This community gained fame in 2009 (Year 98 in Taiwan’s calendar) for its numerous large colorful murals, but as time passed, the old paintings became faded. The community, playing on the homophone “loyal dogs” (忠犬), created these vivid canine figures, instantly turning the area into a tourist attraction.

Shiba Inus, dachshunds, French bulldogs, shepherd dogs... you name it, you can see all kinds of dogs here. Starting from Lane 24, Alley 128, Cixiu Road in Changhua City, stretching all the way to the alleys around the local faith center, Beiji Temple, it has become a world full of pups. Even the walls of residents' homes feature painted designs, making it a true“Loyal Dog Community.”.

The community has taken “dogs” as its symbol and given the peeling walls a major makeover, with designs combining dogs and the existing buildings, attracting many tourists. In addition to hoping that visitors will not disturb the residents’ daily lives, the community has also set up recycling bins and encourages residents to participate in environmental volunteer efforts, hoping this beautiful scene can be preserved for a long time.
