On December 7, 2014, the “Australian Charity BBQ Event,” jointly organized by Goodman Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Qingcong Spring Children’s Intelligence Training Center, was held at the InterContinental Shanghai Puxi. It has frequently supported various charitable causes in China. As another Australian outdoor sports brand, Aoodo participated in and sponsored this event as a charity auction enterprise alongside other brands.

In the end, the organizers called on everyone to pay more attention to children with autism and other developmental disorders, offering them more care and help within their means. They also specifically mentioned that Aoodo’s donations to children’s charity causes are not its first attempt. Aoodo (Auzzieoutdoors), as an outdoor leisure sports retail store under Super Retail Group (SRG), promotes an Aussie-style outdoor lifestyle. Its product range includes multiple sub-brands, covering outdoor leisure sports gear, clothing, footwear, excursion equipment, tents, and more. In October of this year, during the “Crossing the Tropic of Cancer Towards Xishuangbanna” self-driving tour sponsored by Aoodo and initiated by AiJia Network, when passing through the Zhangjiajie stop, Aoodo collaborated with the “Flying Dreams” Rural Sports Public Welfare Project initiated by Cui Yongyuan to donate sports equipment to the primary school in Yata Village, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie.

Supporting children with autism requires the strength of the whole society. Bringing businesses into the ranks of rescue efforts for these children through this charity event undoubtedly adds much hope for them to embrace a new life. It also calls on more public welfare organizations in society to initiate such charitable activities, drawing in more companies like Aoodo that are willing to contribute to charity, thereby strengthening social public welfare efforts. This will also enable more children with autism to live vibrant lives—perhaps enjoying a sunnier, warmer, and more relaxed lifestyle under the blue sky, just as Aoodo’s promoted Aussie leisure concept encourages—rather than shutting themselves away in isolation.
