Soaring and racing across vast snowy plains, challenging the thrill and excitement brought by speed—snowmobiling, as one of the world’s three major winter sports, has a history of over 70 years. Its fast-paced and thrilling competitions have won the favor of numerous outdoor sports enthusiasts in Europe and America. In December 2014, China will hold its first national-level competition featuring snowmobiling as a standalone sport: the 2014 China "Hulunbuir National First Snowmobile Cross-Country Challenge."
