The 2014 Asia Outdoor Exhibition specially set up a Running Zone, which achieved great success. The Running Zone showcased a range of running products, including running shoes, sports watches, apparel, socks, water bottles, and more. Running experts such as Yan Wei, Sina Outdoor Chief Editor Cai Yingyuan, seasoned outdoor community players Lao Yin and Tie Gai, and trail running athlete "North Window" organized forums and lectures on-site, sharing their experiences with attendees.

Industry professionals gave high praise to the Running Zone at the 2014 Asia Outdoor Exhibition:
I think this year’s Running Zone was: first, novel and unique—setting up a dedicated running area within a professional outdoor exhibition is a very distinctive presentation. Second, comprehensive and high-end—the Asia Outdoor Exhibition’s Running Zone brought together top domestic and international running gear brands. Third, highly interactive—the Running Zone featured three main areas: lectures, experiences, and displays, enabling better communication between brands and dealers regarding the latest information and products. Fourth, the China Running Industry Forum—guests included authoritative figures from across the industry, such as leading running brands, professional running media, and well-known dealers, all discussing topics in the running industry, which greatly promoted the development of running as an outdoor activity in China.

With years of experience and a professional organizing team, the strengths and professionalism of the exhibition go without saying. Although this was the first time the Running Zone was launched, just like the booming momentum of running in China, the Running Zone became one of the liveliest and most visited areas of the exhibition, proving its relevance and necessity.

The Asia Outdoor Exhibition has been held for 9 years and is an attractive and well-known event, which is the primary reason we chose to participate. At the same time, the exhibition attracts large crowds, and for brands, we can showcase our best products to the highest-quality customers, which is our main goal. We are very eager to join this exhibition. We have developed many products tailored for professional trail running and outdoor jogging, and this market is extremely helpful for our entry.

The development of running in China is very fast. Salomon is a global leader in trail running, and in the past one or two years, running—especially trail running—has grown rapidly among outdoor enthusiasts. This presents an opportunity for those in the outdoor industry to understand running and the Salomon brand. SUNNTO also has many running-related products. Coming here allows us to see how much attention and importance people place on running. Every emerging sport needs communication and sharing to drive its development, and currently no other exhibition in China does this, so we hope the Asia Outdoor Exhibition will continue to strengthen this aspect.

The concept of a Running Zone is excellent, bringing together the top running apparel, shoes, and equipment to display in one area—it creates a great atmosphere. We hope the Asia Outdoor Exhibition can expand the size of the Running Zone next year to allow more specialized running brands to join.

This year’s Running Zone was a very good display format. Many customers showed strong interest in the zone, and the arrangement of sharing activities added more running culture to the entire area.
