On the afternoon of January 16, 2015 at 14:00, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Self-Driving Tour Passport was launched in Beijing, with the press conference held at the Beijing Golden Dragon Jianguo Hot Spring Hotel. The event was hosted by Zhao Jie, Secretary-General of the Hebei Self-Driving Tourism Association. Present were Lu Qingshan, Secretary-General of the Self-Driving Travel and RV Camping Branch of the China Tourism Automobile and Yacht Association; Tu Weidong, Director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development; Wang Fengtong, Section Chief of the Market Department of the Miyun County Commission of Tourism Development in Beijing; Zeng Tao, Deputy Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Retail Center at Sinopec Beijing Petroleum Branch; Zhang Zhijun, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Hebei Provincial Tourism Bureau; Li Jinping, President of the Hebei Self-Driving Tourism Association; Zhao Jie, Secretary-General of the Hebei Self-Driving Tourism Association; Liu Xiaolong, Director of the Beijing Issuance Office of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Self-Driving Tour Passport; Zhou Xianghu, Director of the Tianjin Issuance Office; Zheng Nan, Business Director of Baojia Car Rental; and Gao Chao, Senior Business Manager of Sohu Auto, among other leaders and partners.

Finally, Lu Qingshan, Secretary-General of the Self-Driving Travel and RV Camping Branch of the China Tourism Automobile and Yacht Association, delivered a concluding speech, stating that the prospects for self-driving tourism are broad, and that through the self-driving tour passport, services will be extended into the leisure and vacation sector, indicating vast market potential.
In order to better shoulder the responsibility of promoting integrated tourism development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Self-Driving Tour Passport has accelerated improvements and innovations in product design, value-added services, big data platforms, and related technologies. It is expected that the newly launched Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Self-Driving Tour Passport will continue to promote the growth of self-driving tourism and follow the path of innovative concepts.
