(hereinafter referred to as "AVIC Development") successfully signed a memorandum of understanding. The two parties agreed to carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation in areas such as aviation equipment manufacturing, aviation parts distribution, and other related fields, including "domestic promotion of AS 9100/AS 9120 certification standards," "guiding and cultivating new enterprises to obtain certifications and join the aviation manufacturing industry," and "joint training and certification for industrial alliance enterprises and potential members." The memorandum states that in today's increasingly competitive global civil aircraft market, in order to fundamentally enhance the international competitiveness of China's civil aircraft manufacturing, AVIC Development is integrating high-quality domestic manufacturing resources aspiring to enter the civil aircraft industry, leading companies with favorable cost structures to join the aviation manufacturing industrial chain, and plans to establish an "Aviation Manufacturing Industry Alliance" in the near future. Bureau Veritas expressed agreement with and active support for the basic concept of the industry alliance proposed by AVIC Development.
