ISPO BEIJING 2015 continued its rapid development and achieved another major success. From January 28 to 31, 29,948 industry professionals from around the world gathered in Beijing for this major sports event. The exhibition featured 434 exhibitors and 656 brands. It is understood that exhibitors spoke highly of the high-quality audience on-site and the exciting concurrent events — including the China Sports Fashion Trends Forum, the Asia-Pacific Ski Industry Forum, and the ISPO TEXTRENDS Functional Textiles Trends Release.
This edition of the exhibition hosted 434 exhibitors (2014: 431) and 656 brands (2014: 637), covering outdoor, extreme sports, skiing, sports fashion, fabrics and fibers, with a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters. Nearly 30,000 visitors attended the show, a slight increase from the previous edition, filling the entire exhibition center with a lively atmosphere. Klaus Dittrich, President and CEO of Messe München GmbH, commented on the achievements: “The successful four-day event once again proves that China’s sports goods market continues to expand healthily, as clearly reflected by the increasing quantity and quality of exhibitors. In addition to numerous leading Asian brands such as Toread, Kailas, Mountain Hardwear, Skiroad, and Kangertech Outdoor, international brands like Northland, Garmont, LOWA, Mammut, Scarpa, and Tecnica also made strong appearances. Moreover, several new brands joined ISPO BEIJING this year, including Craft, Dynastar, Gore, La Sportiva, Point65, Swix, Oneway, Halti, and Thule, all eager to introduce their products to the Chinese market. The participation of country and regional pavilions from Austria, South Korea, France, the Czech Republic, and Taiwan further enhanced the international ambiance of ISPO BEIJING.
