TransAsia Airways’ online travel fair kicks off with up to 25% off Japan routes

TransAsia Airways 2016 Online Travel FairKicking off on the 17th, the event features a limited-time Facebook spin-to-win discount activity, with Japan routes starting at up to 25% off. Customers who book on the official website will also have a chance to win round-trip tickets to international, cross-strait, or domestic destinations with no restrictions on flight points every week—daily discounts and weekly giveaways.

Lin Lei, deputy CEO of TransAsia Airways, said that in the first three quarters of this year, the overall passenger load factor for all routes has rebounded to an average of over 70%. Coupled with the upcoming launch of five new destinations—Sendai, Fukuoka, Busan, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok—before the end of this year, capacity has significantly increased, giving the airline full confidence in its operations.

From October 17 to November 10, during the event period, customers who purchase round-trip tickets for any route via TransAsia’s official website or app and enter their booking code will be entered into a weekly draw for 16 tickets, including 4 international round-trip tickets to any destination, 4 cross-strait round-trip tickets to any destination, and 8 domestic round-trip tickets to any destination. There’s also a chance to take home exclusive gifts such as limited-edition stewardess teddy bears, suitcases, and handheld electronic scales.

Customers can also take advantage of the “Early Bird Special” to book a limited number of early bird seats and then use the online travel fair promo code to enjoy double discounts—both early bird and online travel fair offers. For example, Sendai’s early bird price starts at a minimum of NT$6,013, and with an additional 25% off, it’s about NT$4,510; the lowest price for the Chiang Mai route starts at NT$8,300, and with a 25% discount, it’s about NT$6,375; and for the popular Hokkaido route among Taiwanese travelers, the early bird price starts at a minimum of NT$7,374, and with a 25% discount, it’s about NT$5,530.
