February 2015 Guangzhou Hotel Sentiment Analysis Report

    According to the Metropolo Regional Hotel Sentiment Index (MCI), Alian Home Youth Hostel ranked first in Guangzhou in February with an index score of 100, followed by Guangzhou Fraser Suites International, Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, Xi Yun Serviced Apartments (Parc Central Pazhou), and Hilton Garden Inn Guangzhou, with sentiment index scores of 98.60, 98.31, 98.15, and 98.00 respectively.

　　1. On February 5, The Dusit Thani Guangzhou Hot Spring Resort held its opening ceremony, becoming the first Dusit Thani-branded property to enter the Chinese market. The hotel features 133 luxurious villas and rooms, each with its own private hot spring bath.

　　A hotel mystery guest reported: The hotel is located in the central area of Tianhe District, Guangzhou, next to TaiKoo Hui. The entrance is tucked behind a small grove of trees, and while the lobby isn’t very large, its design is particularly striking... The designer’s reputation is already well known. Though the check-in process wasn’t particularly fast, the smiles and casual conversation made the experience relaxing and pleasant. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast were provided, and the front desk staff personally showed me around the room, offering a thoughtful and satisfying service experience.

　　Friends traveling together commented: The design is very impressive. You can feel it as soon as you walk into the lobby. After checking us in, the front desk staff even walked us to the elevator — I’ve only had that kind of service once or twice before, and it was a nice touch. I didn’t even get to fully admire the elevator area before heading up.

　　Business travelers noted: The hotel is right next to TaiKoo Hui, with other major shopping destinations nearby such as Wanling Hui, Tianhe City, and Grandview Mall. It’s also just a stone’s throw from Shiqiaobridge Subway Station, making it a great choice for business trips. I’ll definitely come back. The executive chef is outstanding as well.
