Subsequently, Hotelworks, an international hotel consulting firm, revealed the overall development status and trends of the vacation ownership industry in the Asia-Pacific region for 2013–2014. During the following forum sessions, representatives from major companies engaged in in-depth discussions and analyses on topics such as marketing, industry credit mechanisms, legal regulations, operations of hybrid resorts, characteristics of high-end consumer groups, and the potential of the Southeast Asian market. Finally, the Industry Leaders Forum, composed of heads from ARDA, RCI, II, Wyndham, Marriott, Anantara, and Absolute Vacation Club, specifically discussed the future development of the Asian vacation ownership market. Throughout their forecasts, China was mentioned repeatedly and prominently.
