The new luxury entertainment venue features a Tech-Asian design
California, Palm Springs, April 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Developers of Infusion Beach & Hotel (IBH), 1875 N. Palm Canyon Partners II, LLC, have released design details of this highly anticipated new project set to open in Palm Springs in late 2015. The new hotel will be created through a multi-million dollar renovation of the existing Garden Vista Hotel, located in Palm Springs’ rapidly developing North End District, and is expected to become a spectacular and luxurious entertainment venue in the city.
IBH’s architectural firm, Chicago-based Door Thirteen, is known for its leading-edge designs in high-rise buildings, resort developments, residential condominiums, and community plans. It has been the go-to architecture firm for the Infusion brand since developing its first nightclub/hotel, Infusion Lounge and Hotel Fusion, in San Francisco in 2009. Door Thirteen’s lead designer Nathan Kaye said: “For IBH, we adopted a refined edge micro-design that integrates the iconic Tech-Asian elements of the Infusion brand, while drawing inspiration from Palm Springs’ renowned modernist style. Room features include sculptural platform beds, white marble countertops with movable sliding screens, whitewashed wood flooring, European-style standalone integrated shower/spa areas with separate tub/vanity, and floor-to-ceiling foldable glass walls that can be embedded into entire walls.”
The original Garden Vista Hotel, built in 1986, includes 124 rooms, two swimming pools, a fitness center, and meeting facilities. It is located at 1875 N. Palm Canyon Drive, within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs. Garden Vista will remain open until July 2015, after which renovations/construction will begin to transform the site into the new Infusion Beach & Hotel.
