Since the successful launch of the first Qianglv Summit in August 2014, the Qianglv series of conferences have attracted significant attention from the tourism industry. The success of the 2015 Qianglv Scenic Spot Summit provided a platform for communication, sharing, and collaboration among major scenic spots and related service enterprises, actively promoting innovation in the management of China’s scenic areas. Themed “Innovation in Scenic Area Management in the Post-Ticket Economy Era,” this summit gathered leaders, experts, and officials from various types of scenic areas, cultural and creative companies, technology solution providers, investment funds, scenic area management firms, marketing planning agencies, online travel websites, travel agencies, media, and tourism authorities. Deep discussions were held on how to integrate cultural creativity with tourism products, how to implement smart scenic areas, practical techniques for connecting scenic areas with capital, and the current state and future of scenic area management outsourcing.
