Last updated 2026-09-24 — At 10:13 a.m. on April 27, amid cheers and attention, a train slowly pulled into Zhengzhou East Railway Station. This was G507, a high-speed train from Beijing to Hankou, which bore a proud name — the Baoquan Tourism Train. With its arrival at the platform, the inaugural ceremony of the Xinxiang · Baoquan Tourism High-Speed Train Naming Event officially kicked off. From then on, ...
With the development of the internet and mobile internet, people's clothing, food, housing, and transportation are undergoing unprecedented changes. "Cloud computing" and "big data" have penetrated every industry, and people can easily queue, dine, and make friends with just a "shake" on their phones. So, how can a "shake" improve the travel experience? Yunnan during the May Day holiday will give you the answer.
According to industry insiders, two premium scenic spots under Yunnan Urban Investment’s tourism sector — Manting Park and Dai Ethnic Park — will be the first to launch WeChat’s “Shake to Buy Tickets” service from May 1 to May 7. By then, visitors can bid farewell to the hassle of traditional ticket purchasing. With just a “Shake” on WeChat via their smartphones, they can purchase tickets with one click. At the same time, through the smart ticketing platform, they can have their tickets verified on-site right at the scenic area entrance, making a “zero-queue” entry a reality.
As a major tourism province, the tourism industry is a pillar sector of Yunnan’s economy. In recent years, Yunnan Urban Investment has invested in nearly half of the province’s tourism resources, playing a pivotal role in the entire industry. Although this initiative initially covers only Manting Park and Dai Ethnic Park, behind the “Shake to Buy Tickets” feature is a commitment to leveraging “cloud computing” and “tourism big data” to deliver accurate, personalized services to visitors — and this is no longer just talk. It has been revealed that the “Shake to Buy Tickets” feature not only allows one-click following of the official scenic area WeChat account but also enables users to randomly win scenic area red packets, receive discount coupons, or get limited-edition Tencent-customized QQ plush toys. This not only enhances the quality of Yunnan’s interactive, experience-based tourism services but also significantly boosts visitor satisfaction.
Industry experts noted that in recent years, the number of tourists visiting Yunnan has remained consistently high, while the quality of scenic area services has stagnated. With the advancement of mobile internet, a multitude of niche travel products have greatly disrupted the traditional tourism industry chain, thereby highlighting the various shortcomings of conventional tourism service models. Today, travelers are increasingly tired of the rigid “sleep on the bus, shop at the destination” style of travel. Yunnan Urban Investment and Kunming Ruran E-commerce Co., Ltd., in collaboration with WeChat’s official Shake service provider, have launched a smart ticketing partnership for scenic areas based on mobile internet and cloud computing technologies. Leveraging WeChat, they are jointly exploring and creating a new “Internet + Tourism” model to provide visitors with a more convenient, faster, and more exciting smart travel experience.
