In 2014, the number of outbound tourists from China surpassed 10 million for the first time. Recognizing this, the China-themed experience at Resorts World Genting China will resonate with both domestic and international visitors. With a rich array of cultural attractions, diverse culinary offerings, and exciting entertainment performances, Resorts World Genting China will showcase the diverse cultural heritage of various regions across China. The China theme will enhance and expand the tourism offerings in Las Vegas.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Resorts World Genting. During the construction and training phases, Resorts World Genting China will generate tens of thousands of jobs in Southern Nevada. It is estimated that the entire construction process will create more than 30,000 person-years of direct and indirect employment—equivalent to one job per year per person. When Resorts World Genting China opens, it is expected to sustain 13,000 direct and indirect jobs. Resorts World Genting is scheduled to open in 2018.
The development of Resorts World Genting China will primarily include three hotel facilities; numerous specialty restaurants, including authentic regional Chinese cuisines; over 100,000 square feet of innovative entertainment space; a variety of flagship retail outlets and premier nightlife venues, among others. Resorts World Genting China will cater to all types of visitor needs. Additional details about the resort’s facilities will be announced during the construction process.
