2014This year,we were introduced to world-class trail running through the inauguralSalomonTrail Running Elite Camp, and also exchanged technical insights on trail running with the“godfather”Gregory Volletof trail running. The most exciting part was that two runners who stood out from the firstSalomonTrail Running Elite Camp――— Yan Longfei and Dong Li — grew rapidly over the past year, rose to become international top-tier trail runners, and won numerous championship titles.
The second editionSalomonof the Trail Running Elite Camp has since April issued“calls to adventure”in major and medium-sized cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenyang, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Xi’an, and Taizhou, recruiting elite trail athletes through trail races. From over2000trail running enthusiasts,40outstanding trail runners were selected to participate in the4-day Trail Running Elite Camp. As per tradition, the top performers in the elite camp race will be supported by theSalomonbrand to travel to Chamonix, France, to compete in world-class trail events alongside many international trail running legends.
