Shanghai, June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently,hotels under Hilton Worldwide in Greater China participatedinthe company’s largest-ever global career event “Careers@HiltonLive: Hospitality Youth Month,” showcasing a wealth of opportunities in the industry to young talents. Throughout May, hundreds of activities were held by Hilton Worldwide hotels and corporate offices around the world to inform all job seekers that the hospitality industry offers abundant employment opportunities. The “Careers@Hilton Live: Hospitality Youth Month” is part of the global initiative “LightStay Blue Future,” which aims to encourage team members to use their time and expertise to help youth achieve career stability, bring hope to their communities, and build a brighter future for them.

This year, over sixtyhotelsin Hilton Worldwide Greater China participated in a series of activities for “Careers@Hilton Live: Hospitality Youth Month.” Hilton Worldwide shared the event through social media and various online channels, attracting more than 4,200 job seekers. On May 23, 2015, Hilton Worldwide held a national “Careers@Hilton Live: Hospitality Youth Day” in major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Sanya. During the event, over 400 front office and food & beverage positions were made available to job seekers by both operating and pre-opening hotels.

The “Careers@Hilton Live: Hospitality Youth Month” provided Hilton Worldwide team members with a unique opportunity to inspire young job seekers to learn about jobs and careers in the hospitality industry, and to offer them valuable guidance in the workplace and beyond. Hilton Worldwide team members who took part in the event jointly engaged ina variety of exciting activities includingresume guidance, rapid networking, and team member career sharing.
