Quantum and Palma have been appointed as arrangers for the financing of Saudi Arabian Airlines' largest aircraft leasing deal to date
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- International Airfinance Corporation (referred to as “IAFC”) has appointed Quantum Investment Bank Ltd (Quantum Investment Bank, referred to as “Quantum”) and Palma Capital Limited (referred to as “Palma”) as the exclusivearrangersof financing for the largest aircraft leasing transaction in the history of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudi Arabian Airlines, referred to as “SAUDIA”). Both Quantum and Palma are based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA, referred to as “DFSA”). The deal includes arranging debt and equity financing for the purchase of 30 A320-200 and 20 A330-300 aircraft from Airbus for lease to Saudi Arabian Airlines.

Following the signing of operating lease agreements with IAFC for 20 A330-300 (regional) and 30 A320ceo (current engine option) aircraft, Saudi Arabian Airlines, the national carrier, will become the world's first airline to operate the Airbus A330-300 (regional) aircraft.
