On the evening of July 4th, the 2015 Laojun Mountain Sea of Clouds & Summer Retreat Festival grandly opened at the national 5A-level scenic spot Laojun Mountain. A two-month-long, cool and thrilling journey featuring nine consecutive exciting events officially kicked off.
"It was amazing. I haven’t seen such a spectacular fireworks show in two years since the Lantern Festival display was discontinued," said Mr. Gao, a tourist from Zhengzhou.
It is understood that the 2015 Laojun Mountain Sea of Clouds & Summer Retreat Festival is jointly organized by the national 5A-level scenic spot Laojun Mountain and Henan TV’s program "Travel the World." The event runs from July 4th to August 31st. In addition to the opening ceremony, there will be eight more exciting activities to follow, including the "2nd Laojun Mountain Music Camping Festival," "3rd Laojun Mountain Ten-Thousand People Peach Banquet for Health," "4th Car Enthusiasts Carnival," "Winds Rise at Junshan • Spirit of a Blessed Land" Laojun Mountain Wind Chime Festival, "Freedom in Body • Flight in Heart" Student Exclusive Travel Day, "Charming China • Elegance in the Clouds" Laojun Mountain Peak Forest Cheongsam Show, "Golden Bond • Eternal Companionship" Golden Wedding Ceremony on the Golden Summit, and "Bright Moon & Blue Sky • Plucking Stars with Hands" Stargazing on Laojun Mountain.
