From September 22 to 23, the Chongli CUIYUNSHAN Forest Music Festival kicked off in style at the Cuiyunshan Forest Scenic Area. Over the two days, 15 renowned domestic bands performed in rotation, presenting over a hundred classic songs to music enthusiasts. More than 4,000 attendees experienced this unprecedented forest music festival, indulging in a full dose of rock 'n' roll during the summer.
It is understood that this music festival was jointly organized by Hebei Tourism Investment Group’s Zhangjiakou Chongli Shanshui Tourism Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiakou Cultural Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd., and hosted by the Cuiyunshan Forest Scenic Area. It made its grand debut at the athletic field of the scenic area’s small parking service zone, striving to create the most authentic and exciting forest music festival of the summer. As the largest forest music festival in Chongli this summer, the event boasted numerous highlights that impressed attendees.
A luxurious lineup of bands that dazzled the eye
The Chongli Cuiyunshan Forest Music Festival invited 15 well-known domestic bands, including Gao Qi & Overload, Nan Wu, Paradise, Fruit Day VC, Si Wu, Chuan Zi & Band, Heping Lu Bei, Wu You, and Note Girls, to perform live, bringing the hottest musical elements of the summer. As everyone knows, rock is often associated with restlessness, youth, rebellion, and unrest. Countless days of boiling excitement demand nothing less than fiery, boiling roars to fully express them. Nothing hits the soul quite like rock music at a concert. This edition of the Chongli Cuiyunshan Forest Music Festival featured over a hundred classic songs performed in rotation, almost encompassing all the rock hits familiar to fans in recent years, successfully creating the most spectacular musical carnival in Chongli this summer.
A massive music stage that stunned the crowd
Surprisingly, this music festival wasn’t limited to just music. In addition to enjoyable music and dance entertainment, the stage design was also remarkably creative. The spectacular 50-meter-wide main stage wowed the audience, complemented by three-dimensional lighting and sound systems, along with the unique echo effect of the Cuiyunshan forest, delivering an ultimate experience for both the eyes and ears. The festival debuted a refreshing “irregular-shaped” stage that integrated music, landscape, and model art. The layered “Suke Stage,” composed of vibrant geometric shapes, gave off an international, Hollywood-style vibe. The novel visual stimulation, paired with the intense musical energy, brought an irresistible, high-octane passion to all attendees.
Forest entertainment activities with a unique twist
At the festival, the distinctive sky-city attractions of the Cuiyunshan Forest Scenic Area—such as aerial net pods, treetop tours, zip-lining, jungle obstacle courses, and sky rails—remained must-try experiences. Especially popular were the starry sky tents and mid-air tents, offering a uniquely refreshing camping experience in the deep forest. The sky-city’s unconventional activities also attracted many fans. While enjoying the music, many took on challenges like aerial bridges or forest obstacle courses, fully immersing themselves in the charm of Cuiyunshan’s vast forest, taking in the natural scenery, and spending two delightful days of leisure.
In addition, food was also a highlight of the festival. A wide variety of fruits, desserts, barbecues, snacks, beers, cocktails, and beverages were readily available, satisfying taste buds at any moment and delivering an unforgettable forest feast—a culinary carnival for the senses.
With its rich offerings of music, food, and games, the Chongli CUIYUNSHAN Forest Music Festival created an electrifying city-wide musical event, a visual and auditory spectacle dancing with nature, sparking an end-of-season celebration that rocked the entire forest, and etching itself as the most memorable experience of the summer.
