CAMELBAK
The history of CAMELBAK dates back to 1988. Its inventor was Meachel Edison from Texas, a former military doctor and also an avid cycling enthusiast. The summer heat in Texas is famously intense, and cycling is an extremely physically demanding activity. Without timely hydration, dehydration can easily occur. Meachel created a "personal hydration system" using medical rubber tubing and intravenous plastic bags, which he sewed onto the back of his sports clothing. This allowed for convenient hydration while also effectively reducing body temperature. Later, Meachel registered a patent and founded the "CamelBak" company, further refining the product into an industrialized item.
