Guanyin Mountain hosts an entrepreneurship-themed event to cheer on entrepreneurs
Recently, it was learned from the organizers of the "Travel with Love, Pray at Guanyin Mountain" campaign — Guangdong Guanyin Mountain National Forest Park — that the theme for September is: inviting entrepreneurs from across the country to the scenic area to engage in Zen meditation for body and mind, pray and discuss the Way, and exchange ideas on entrepreneurship. At Dongguan’s Guanyin Mountain, hailed as the "Sacred Land of the South and a Hidden Gem of Guangdong," entrepreneurs from all over the country will explore how, in this era of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation," they can adjust their body and mind to better create value for society and benefit more people, while enjoying the natural ecological scenery.
In fact, the development of Dongguan’s Guanyin Mountain also carries an inspiring entrepreneurial journey. From an obscure virgin forest, it has grown into a national forest park, a national-level tourist attraction, and a renowned cultural mountain in Guangdong. It has now taken up the banner of eco-cultural tourism in the Pearl River Delta, making outstanding contributions to the development of green tourism economy in Dongguan and achieving sustainable development.
Guanyin Mountain is located in the eastern part of Dongguan City, on the edge of the town center of Zhangmutou, just a 30-minute drive from both Shenzhen and Huizhou. The park features lush forests, majestic mountains, a serene environment, excellent pristine landscapes, and a rich Buddhist cultural atmosphere.
Since November 2014, Dongguan Guanyin Mountain has held the "Travel with Love, Pray at Guanyin Mountain" series of events, which have been run for eight consecutive editions. Previous participants have included travel enthusiasts, photography experts, environmental advocates, and others, all of whom have praised the scenic area’s natural beauty, cultural activities, and corporate ethos.
The ninth edition in September 2015 marks the first special event dedicated to entrepreneurs. In addition to mountain climbing and prayer, tasting lotus tea, and sampling delicious vegetarian dishes, this entrepreneur-focused event will also host an "Entrepreneurs’ Salon" — seeking the supreme Bodhi mind and comprehending the wisdom of Buddhist Prajna, all to inspire and support entrepreneurs.
