Quzhou, a lady of grace hidden deep in the mountains

Confucius said: When propriety is lost in the state, look to the countryside. While major cities race headlong toward "modernization," the beautiful Jiangnan city of Quzhou has, intentionally or not, preserved a wealth of traditional landscapes, classic architecture, rural customs, folk crafts, and even aesthetic sensibilities, attracting countless travelers in search of tranquil charm and photography enthusiasts who cherish nature and culture.
And sure enough, a group of photography "enthusiasts" from all over the country—the 20 guest contestants of the "I'm Wild About Quzhou" Micro Photography Competition—gathered in Quzhou on August 20 under the joint planning and organization of the Quzhou Municipal Tourism Commission and Southern TV. The launch ceremony of the event was held at Quzhou Hotel. Twenty individuals, including CCTV host @XiuyuanDapai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Land and Resources News @XuXiake, actor @XuTieren, romance writer @ZhaoGeyu, photographer @WangXiaoke, Sina Travel expert @Toscana, and columnist @YeQianxun, served as the first batch of guest contestants. Led by the Southern TV production team, they embarked on a micro photography journey through Quzhou, experiencing firsthand the unique beauty of "magical landscapes and leisurely Quzhou." They also created on-site works as they competed for prizes.
Thus far, the first batch of guest contestants has completed their wild photography adventure in Quzhou. One contestant shared online: "I’m grateful to have been selected to participate in the 'I'm Wild About Quzhou' activity. Along the way, we traveled wildly, shot wildly, and encountered endless scenery, refined culture, untold stories, and inexhaustible charm… It was an immensely fulfilling experience both physically and mentally." Quzhou truly is such a place—it leaves you wanting to go wild once, and then come back for more. Let’s look forward to the arrival of the second batch of guest contestants！
