They typically utilize natural environments such as steep cliffs and rugged ravines, and through carefully designed activities, achieve the training objectives of "tempering willpower, cultivating sentiment, refining character, and forging teamwork." They also develop members' individual psychological resilience, team cooperation skills, wilderness survival abilities, as well as self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities.
