"Tangla YaXiu" Brings Rural Children a Joyful Reading Experience

Beijing, Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On the afternoon of October 11, 2015, four special guests arrived at the Beijing Youth Reading Experience World. They came from Huodoushan Primary School in Luanping County, Hebei Province. For an entire afternoon, three children, guided by two reading mentors, fully immersed themselves in the joy of exploring the world of books. After the tour, the mentors and children returned to the Beijing Tangla YaXiu Hotel. Following dinner, staff from HNA Hotels Group and the China Youth Development Foundation presented extracurricular books. Everyone shared and exchanged joyful experiences about reading.

The children came to Beijing to attend the launch ceremony of the "Tangla YaXiu · Project Hope 1 Yuan Action" on October 12. HNA Hotels Group and the China Youth Development Foundation will launch the "1 Yuan Action" public welfare initiative starting with the "Joyful Reading" project. The funds raised are intended to support this school and more schools in central and western regions in carrying out the "Project Hope Joyful Reading" program. This will help fulfill the children’s wish: to allow more classmates to have access to so many wonderful books.

Seeing the children’s innocent and joyful smiles as they explored the sea of books, one can’t help but want to do more for them.
