On the 13th, during the core session of the forum titled “Face to Face: Dialogue between Ministers and Private CEOs – Enhancing Tourism Connectivity, Bridging the World with Zero Distance,” Zhang Ling, Director of the Board of Directors of HNA Group and Chairman of HNA Tourism Group, elaborated on how HNA will align with the Belt and Road Initiative to support Silk Road tourism and unleash new economic drivers in cultural tourism, from the perspectives of comprehensive regional connectivity and the challenges of both hardware and software in the tourism industry.
Zhang Ling stated that HNA has consistently leveraged its multi-industry advantages, closely focusing on key nodes of the national Belt and Road construction, to actively build an open service-oriented industry. Based in Hainan, it is establishing an “aerial hub” for the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, actively planning the development of new routes, providing transportation services for countries along the Belt and Road, and creating distinctive international premium tourism routes and products with Silk Road characteristics. At the same time, HNA Tourism actively pays attention to the unique cultural heritage of various regions, encourages multicultural integration and exchange, guides healthy industry development, and promotes civilized tourism initiatives. HNA Tourism is willing to join hands with global tourism partners to jointly promote the healthy and sustainable development of the tourism industry and foster regional and international cooperation.
In the future, within the new opportunities of tourism development along the Belt and Road, HNA Tourism will strive to be a new generation builder connecting two major economic hubs in Asia and Europe. Focusing on tourism infrastructure, product innovation, and cultural exchange, it will help make the Belt and Road a path of shared prosperity through win-win cooperation, a route of cultural exchange and peaceful friendship, and a model road leading to the prosperity of global tourism.
