From September 26 to 29, 2018, the Qiandao Lake tourism destination in Zhejiang will host the “Fun Discovery・Qiandao Lake” outdoor-themed event. With the cool weather of early autumn, it’s the perfect time for outdoor activities. In this wonderful season, you can not only take part in green, low-carbon, leisurely, and fitness-focused outdoor sports, but also admire the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake.
On September 26, three professional KOLs in the outdoor field, six travel influencers, two short video creators, and ten outdoor enthusiasts will gather in Qiandao Lake, where a series of exciting activities await them. On the afternoon of the 26th, the first stop of the event will be the Qiandao Lake Auto & Motorcycle Town, where thrilling mountain karting will take place. In the evening, they will stay at the Yushan Qian Homestay in Qiandao Lake. On the morning of the 27th, participants will experience kayaking at the Zhu Langzhe Base Dock, getting up close and personal with the waters of Qiandao Lake. In the afternoon of the 27th, participants will head to the Qiandao Lake Grand Canyon for a stream tracing adventure, immersing themselves in the area’s pristine beauty. They will stay at the Wenyuan Shicheng Art Inn that evening. On the 28th, participants will go to Guocun Village to take part in an orienteering competition in the ancient village, followed by a mountaintop race along the Sheling Ancient Trail. They will stay at the Fisherman’s Home Homestay that night. On the 29th, participants will challenge the 1,450-meter altitude by summiting Jinzijian Peak.
Qiandao Lake Auto & Motorcycle Town

Kayaking is a water-based outdoor sport that has quietly gained immense popularity in recent years in China. No professional experience is needed to give it a try. Take control of a kayak, get up close with the waters of Qiandao Lake, and enjoy the tranquility of being out on the lake.
Qiandao Lake Grand Canyon Stream Tracing
The Qiandao Lake Grand Canyon features steep cliffs, mountain streams and waterfalls, river beaches, as well as karst caves. It also offers a certain level of difficulty for hiking adventures. The ever-changing scenery along the way and the indescribably pristine atmosphere make it a place people never want to leave, leaving lasting memories.
Ancient Village Orienteering + Sheling Ancient Trail Mountaintop Race
An outdoor orienteering competition will be held in Guocun Village: multiple checkpoint stations (such as charades, poetry challenges, and brain teaser math problems) will be set up throughout the village. Participants will compete in team-based races, then set off in staggered intervals based on their finishing order, heading to the Sheling Ancient Trail (with a roughly 20-minute drive in between). Upon reaching the foot of Yesi Village, teams will begin their ascent to the mountaintop, with the first team to reach the top winning the competition. This activity combines outdoor orienteering with trail hiking, and on-site KOLs and participants must complete checkpoint challenges and short video tasks to earn rewards.
Summiting Jinzijian Peak
Jinzijian Peak is located at the border of Zuokou and Wangfu townships, with an elevation of 1,450.8 meters. It is the highest peak of the Yuling Range within Chun’an County and is covered with pine trees, earning it the nickname “Huangshan of Western Zhejiang.” During this event, participants will conquer the summit of Jinzijian Peak. The round-trip hike takes about seven hours and is a significant test of physical endurance.
It is reported that the professional KOLs in the outdoor field participating in this event include Tie Gai (the “Leader of the Beggars’ Gang”), Youlan Valley 51, and Winepocket Guoguo AK. All three KOLs have extensive experience in outdoor challenges, excellent photography and videography skills, strong writing abilities, large followings on Weibo, and high influence in the industry. The travel influencers joining the event are Coco Hu Bo, Xiao Liu Jing’er, Youzou Travel Photographer, Zhenzhu Xiong Ying V, Beibao Bao GO, and Yiduo ZSN. These six influencers have rich offline experience, contribute to mainstream travel magazines, enjoy high readership on self-media platforms, and have millions of Weibo followers. The short video creators participating are Freya_Fangfang and sosay Da Nini, both of whom are highly popular and experienced in filming. Freya_Fangfang was the lead actress in the first outstanding work at the 2016 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and has appeared in TV dramas such as “No Woman Is Stronger Than Heaven Allows” and “Painful 17.” sosay Da Nini has appeared on shows like “Famous in Thailand” and the variety show “Flash Mob: Here Come the Female Drivers.” Additionally, there are 10 outdoor enthusiasts from across the country who signed up for the event. They are passionate about outdoor sports and travel, and hope to gain joy from both through this event.
