Fast Food King of Southern Taiwan "Dandan Burger" Adjusts Prices Starting November 11; 3 Combo Meals Get Cheaper

Dandan Burger, the fast food giant of southern Taiwan, announced that starting November 11, it will adjust its prices. The prices of 12 combo meals have all been changed. Price hikes are nothing new, but what surprised many netizens was that three combo meals actually had their prices reduced, prompting many to exclaim: “What a kind-hearted company.”

Dandan Burger’s featured combo meals hadn’t had a price adjustment in nearly 10 years, but due to continuous increases in costs such as raw materials, food safety fees, and the minimum wage in recent years, it has decided to adjust prices starting November 11.

Some netizens onPTTshared the detailed menu after the price changes and found that while most combo meals had seen a price increase, the hike was not significant, averaging about NT$3–4. More surprisingly, there were “price reductions,” including Combo Meals 6, 11, and 12, which were all lowered. Combo Meal 6 dropped from NT$79 to NT$77, while Combo Meals 11 and 12 went from NT$89 to NT$86. The price cuts earned praise from many netizens: “There are actually some that went down,” “Good to see some discounts,” and “They’re cutting prices — supporting with New Taiwan Dollars.”
