Chairman Pang Hua stated at the event that Jiuding Tower Chinese Ethnic Culture Park is one of the few scenic spots in China that remains unaffected by seasonal changes. 2015 has been another fruitful year for the Chinese Ethnic Culture Park. By the end of October, the park had received over a thousand travel agencies from both within and outside the province, welcoming more than 400,000 visitors. The number of cooperating travel agencies inside and outside the province has been increasing year by year, and the park has gained recognition from more and more tourists. In 2015, the scenic area successfully hosted a number of major festivals including the “Spring Tourism Festival,” “Mountain Song Festival,” “World Carnival,” “Water-Splashing Festival,” “Qixi Festival,” “Autumn Harvest Festival,” “Elderly Day,” and “Halloween.”
General Manager Pang Chao introduced this winter’s skiing policies as well as related accommodation and conference policies. He said that as the weather continues to get colder, the 12th Jiuding Tower Ski Festival is expected to start earlier than in previous years, drawing high attention from leaders at all levels and all sectors of society. To bring tangible benefits to visitors, the ski resort will offer all-day, unlimited skiing, providing more space and opportunities for skiing enthusiasts.
In early October this year, the scenic area carried out major maintenance and repairs on the ski slopes. Both the slope conditions and the safety facilities around the ski area have been made safer and more stable. Over 40 senior ski instructors from Northeast China have been specially hired to help beginners master skiing skills in the shortest possible time.
