The Lihpao Group has invested NT$2 billion to build Taiwan's largest Lihpao Resort, with the Lihpao Outlet Mall confirmed to begin trial operations on December 24. At the Taipei International Travel Fair on the 4th, the Lihpao Group not only designed its booth in a Mediterranean resort style inspired by the Outlet but also launched discount packages with savings of up to 70%. For just NT$2,499 per person, visitors can enjoy one night's stay and two meals at Fulong Hotel while exploring Lihpao, and a pair of tickets to the Starlight Amusement Park is available for as little as NT$200.

The Lihpao Outlet Mall is set to begin trial operations on December 24 and officially open on January 15, 2017. It will house a total of 120 brands and dining options. In addition to offering year-round discounts of up to 80% off, the mall will feature Taiwan's largest food court capable of accommodating 1,000 people, along with four popular ramen shops from Hokkaido, creating a highly anticipated "Ramen Street."

The Lihpao Outlet Mall also welcomes visitors to bring their pets, with a dedicated "Pet Dog Park" located right next to the Outlet, providing ample space for dogs and their owners to stroll and play.

Another major highlight is the resort's massive Ferris wheel, "Sky Dream," the largest in Taiwan. In addition to being illuminated on New Year's Eve, it will host a countdown concert in collaboration with the Taichung City Government, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display. However, the exact duration and content of the fireworks show have yet to be confirmed.

Lihpao Resort is offering three types of experience packages at the 2016 Taipei International Travel Fair, including a Couple Moonlight Ticket for NT$199, a Lihpao Escape Room Madness Package for NT$499, and a Couple Discovery Package for NT$799. For food and accommodation, there are the Lihpao & Fulong Dining Package for NT$999, the Lihpao Holiday Double Package with one night's stay and one meal for NT$4,999, and the Lihpao Holiday Quad Package with one night's stay and two meals for NT$9,999.
