On September 18, 2018, the "2019 Australia Educational Travel Summit Forum and Project Launch Conference" was held at the Beijing International Convention Center. It was hosted by Zhongtian Education Group in collaboration with the Australian International Education & Cultural Exchange Association, the Queensland Department of Education of Australia, and the New South Wales Department of Education of Australia, and co-organized by institutions such as the NELTS exam and St. Maron’s College Australia. The conference aimed to enhance educational travel exchanges between China and Australia, bring Australia’s rich study tour resources to serve China’s vast study tour market, and achieve win-win cooperation.

Attendees included Yang Chunmao, former Secretary-General of the China Teachers Development Foundation and Supervisor of the China Education Association; Huo Fenglin, Director of the Study Tour Affairs Office of the Oriental International Education Exchange Center under the China Scholarship Council; Huang Xiaoyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Wisdom Engineering Research Association; Fang Fei, Chairman of the China Competition Activities Alliance and Secretary-General of the Quality Education Committee of the China Wisdom Engineering Research Association; and Mr. Zhao Yu, founder of the NELTS exam.
The conference focused on the development of the China-Australia educational travel industry, discussing trends in Australia’s international study programs, changes in demand within China’s study tour market, and solutions for quality management of study tour projects. It provided an in-depth analysis and interpretation of the current state and policies of educational travel, guiding the industry toward new directions with a broad international perspective and rich sector experience.
Wang Huaizhou, President of Zhongtian Education, stated at the conference that against the backdrop of rising national income and the growth of leisure consumption, along with the deepening of quality education concepts and the relaxation of population policies, and driven by top-down policy catalysts and the wave of cross-sector integration in the tourism industry, the demand for educational travel is continuously being unleashed. The market is growing rapidly, and the educational travel industry has seen a more diverse range of market players. There is significant room for improvement in product richness, standardization, dimensionality, and innovation. In the future, the educational travel industry holds great potential.
At the same time, Mr. Wang Huaizhou also pointed out that Zhongtian’s development would not have been possible without the support of national policies, the peaceful domestic and international development environment, and the trust of the market. Zhongtian Education, in collaboration with the Australian International Education & Cultural Exchange Association, the Queensland Department of Education of Australia, and the New South Wales Department of Education of Australia, jointly organized this forum. The goal is to effectively connect the demands of the Chinese market with Australia’s educational travel resources, optimize resource allocation, establish safe, controllable, and actionable overseas study tour operational standards, build a China-Australia vertical market advantage, and further promote the development of the educational travel industry between the two countries.
Zhongtian Education Group (officially known as Beijing Zhongtian Meiao International Education Consulting Co., Ltd.) was established in November 2007, dedicated to advancing and developing educational and cultural exchanges between China and countries around the world. Since its inception, Zhongtian has focused on overseas study tours, paid internships abroad, studying abroad and student exchange programs, and inbound educational exchanges.
