Construction begins on Songding Pathfinder Ski Resort project

Yesterday, this newspaper learned from the Publicity Department of the Gongyi Municipal Committee that Pathfinder Ice & Snow Holdings Development Co., Ltd. has signed the “Henan Zhongyue Songding Pathfinder Ski Resort Project…” with the Gongyi Municipal People’s Government and Jiajinkou Town Government.
According to the agreement, Pathfinder Ice & Snow Holdings Development Co., Ltd. will carry out protective development and operation on a project site of approximately 3 square kilometers in Wolong Village, Jiajinkou Town, with an operating period of 50 years. The total planned investment for the project is 350 million yuan. Among this, the ski resort is expected to receive an investment of 270 million yuan, and other outdoor sports supporting projects 80 million yuan, with completion expected within six years. The reporter learned that the project will be carried out in two phases: from October 2015 to November 2017, the focus will be on constructing and improving the hardware conditions of the ski resort and enhancing the customer service system; from April 1, 2018 to November 15, 2020, the focus will be on gradually developing an outdoor sports park and campsite based on the completed ski resort facilities. The local government is mainly responsible for building trunk roads for specialized service projects outside the project area, constructing water source ponds, and installing main power transmission facilities, properly addressing water, electricity and road issues.
