On November 24, the “Light of Textiles” 2015 China National Textile and Apparel Council Science, Technology and Education Awards Ceremony was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The conference recognized outstanding achievements in science and technology, education, knitted underwear, skilled personnel, as well as technological innovation talents and enterprises in the textile industry in 2015.Toread's proprietary technology—The TiEF DRY intelligent one-way moisture-wicking technical fabric was awarded the “Knitted Underwear Innovation Contribution Award” at this year’s ceremony.

     The China National Textile and Apparel Council’s Knitted Underwear Innovation Contribution Award is the first specialized award in the textile industry. Its purpose is to recognize innovations in science and technology, talent development, and the establishment of new marketing models within China’s underwear industry.

   “Light of Textiles”A total of 25 projects were submitted for the 2015 Knitted Underwear Innovation Contribution Award. After evaluation, 13 projects were granted the “Light of Textiles” Knitted Underwear Innovation Contribution Award. These projects demonstrated higher technological content and depth of innovation compared to previous years. Among them, 15 projects held invention patents, accounting for 62.5% of the total submissions. The winning projects represent innovations in the knitted underwear industry in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, application of new materials, seamless product development, and functional fabric creation.
